The schedule for the ASHE Harrisburg Photo Contest is the following:

1^st Place

Spanning into the Night – Big Delta Bridge

The Big Delta Bridge carries State Route 2 (Richardson Highway) over the Tanana River in Delta Junction, Alaska. The 5-span structure consists of a through truss bridge and steel plate girder spans to the south. Bridge is located adjacent to the Alaska pipeline suspension bridge which has security lighting and created the scene for this photo.

2^nd Place

Genesee Arch Bridge

The Genesee Arch Bridge is a stunning compliment to the landscape in Letchworth State Park, NY, which is known as the “Grand Canyon of the East.” The 483-foot-long steel arch, designed by Modjeski and Masters, spans the Upper Falls at 245 feet above the Genesee River.

Elfreth’s Alley, Philadelphia

2024 Contest Honorable Mention - Brian Pinamonti - Elfreth’s Alley is one of the oldest continuously inhabited residential streets in the United States. Dating back to 1703, this street can be found in the Old City neighborhood of Philadelphia.

Chesapeake Bay Bridge, Maryland

2024 Contest Honorable Mention - Keith Markel - The Bay Bridge carries US 50/301 traffic from the Baltimore / Washington / Annapolis areas across the Chesapeake Bay to the Eastern Shore.

Coming Home

2023 Contest 1st Place - Shaun Bentz - Taken on approach to Harrisburg International Airport (HIA), the photo shows the infamous handful of bridges crossing the Susquehanna River in Harrisburg.

Aerial Photograph of a Double Roundabout “Dumbbell” Interchange

2023 Contest 2nd Place - Danielle Derolf - Exit 30 interchange to Griffith Street on I-77 in Davidson, NC. This interchange was completed in 2019 and included a new bridge, sidewalks, bike lanes, and the featured roundabouts.
