Work performed in the office and the field. Normal work hours are 7:30am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday.   • Designing structural components of bridges, box culverts, retaining walls and related structures
  • Developing details of bridge components for contract drawings
  • Calculating quantities and developing construction cost estimates

  • Using rough sketches from an Engineer of the basic idea of the job and developing plans, sections and details in Auto CADD or Revit to incorporate on working drawings
  • Creating structural base drawings directly from architectural drawings.
  • Interfacing with other disciplines such as Architects, Mechanical Engineers, Contractors, etc.
  • Layout of industrial equipment to fit and supported on structural steel.
  • Design of chutes, ductwork, etc.

Management-Level Land Development Engineer – Full Time Employment, Mechanicsburg, PA (Posted: March 9, 2022)

We are seeking a Management-Level Land Development Engineer in our Mechanicsburg, PA office.  In this position you will have the opportunity to be a management level engineer for all phases of project development from proposals to bid package preparation in collaboration with the Project Manager. Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team in Stormwater BMP Designs including Municipal/Agency code compliance, reference documentation, grading, drainage features, and 3D modeling utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3d and applicable regulations
  • Oversee preparation of agency (PA DEP, Army Corps, Conservation District) permits and submissions as related to Earth Disturbance, Municipal Stormwater, Environmental, and Waterway Impacts in collaboration with the Project Manager
  • Lead a team in preparation of project quantity computations, technical specifications, and construction ready plans
