Our Civil/Highway Engineering Practice is looking for a Project Manager to join our Camp Hill, PA office. Experience with MicroStation, ArcGIS and appropriate hydrologic/hydraulic software desirable. Engineer-In-Training Certification highly desirable.

Experienced engineer with 7 plus years of progressive bridge design experience. PA PE with a detailed knowledge of PennDOT and PA Turnpike Commission bridge plan development process, design programs and standards is required. Requires use of MicroStation and the ability to lead a design team with a focus on quality. MSCE and NBIS certification is a plus.

Experienced support personnel familiar with all aspects of survey data collection and field survey procedures. Experience with boundary surveys and conducting courthouse research, plotting deeds and developing base plans from survey files. Ability to perform field work as necessary. Experienced in MicroStation and InRoads required.

  • Developing details of bridge components for contract drawings
  • Calculating quantities and developing construction cost estimates

  • Participating in project meetings and writing minutes of such meetings

The qualifications/skills you will bring to WBCM:
  • 0 to 3 years of experience as a bridge engineer
  • A minimum of B.S. in Civil Engineering
  • EIT required
  • Must be knowledgeable and proficient in basic computer programs such as Microsoft Office.
    • The ability to learn computer programs such as Merlin Dash, Conspan, DESCUS, RC Pier, STAAD, L-Pile, etc.
  • The ability to learn various codes such as AASHTO, ACI, AISC, etc.
  • Knowledge of MicroStation a plus

  • Using rough sketches from an Engineer of the basic idea of the job and developing plans, sections and details in Auto CADD or Revit to incorporate on working drawings
  • Creating structural base drawings directly from architectural drawings.
  • Interfacing with other disciplines such as Architects, Mechanical Engineers, Contractors, etc.
  • Layout of industrial equipment to fit and supported on structural steel.
  • Design of chutes, ductwork, etc.
  • Checking of in-house structural drawings and Shop Drawings from detailers
  • Assist Engineer with aspects of design process.
  • Make corrections to drawings from Engineer markups
  • Produce drawings for presentations/meetings/submissions
  • Meet project deadlines
  • Help other departments when needed
  • Assist with field work/site visits
  • Translate engineering field notes into working drawings
  • Coordinate printing/plotting requirements for project
  • Scanning and copying documents

The qualifications/skills you will bring to WBCM:

We are seeking a Management-Level Land Development Engineer in our Mechanicsburg, PA office.  In this position you will have the opportunity to be a management level engineer for all phases of project development from proposals to bid package preparation in collaboration with the Project Manager. Work related travel will be limited to a few times a month and will generally be limited to within 4 hours of the office.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team in Stormwater BMP Designs including Municipal/Agency code compliance, reference documentation, grading, drainage features, and 3D modeling utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3d and applicable regulations
  • Oversee preparation of agency (PA DEP, Army Corps, Conservation District) permits and submissions as related to Earth Disturbance, Municipal Stormwater, Environmental, and Waterway Impacts in collaboration with the Project Manager
  • Lead a team in preparation of project quantity computations, technical specifications, and construction ready plans
  • Perform project duties utilizing critical thinking with appropriate supervision while being mindful of the scope, schedule, and budget

Experience/Skills:
